Now that we have completed our Art History lessons for grade 9, you can review the key points here by clicking on the file entitled "summary-grade 9 art history" and you may review the slides in numerical order posted in the slideshow below.
Art History Test Format: (Friday, May 16th) ( /20 - Knowledge Marks)
Slide Identifications (10 marks)
You will be shown 10 slides. For each one, you will be asked for 2 pieces of information from the credit line. It can be any combination of the following: Title, Artist's Name (last name only is fine), Medium (what it's made of), Period (applies only to Egyptian, Greek, or Roman art pieces). There are NO DATES on the test!
Short Answer Questions (10 marks)
You will be asked approximately 4 short answer questions (worth 2-3 marks each). Questions will be about the information learned about the art works. Focus on special terms in your notes. Some questions will have more than one correct answer. Some questions may involve your opinion.
